THE OPPORTUNITY:

We're exclusively supporting a successful accountancy practice located in Skipton who is looking to expand their team due to the continued success of the practice. They're now seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant / Senior Accountant to join the team.

As an established accountancy practice, they've got an impressive portfolio of clients who you will be responsible for the preparation of their year-end accounts.

This is the perfect opportunity for a Semi-Senior Accountant or Senior Accountant who wants to join an expanding practice where you can fast track your career.

THE SEMI-SENIOR ACCOUNTANT / SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

Supporting clients ranging from Sole Traders to Partnerships to Limited Companies
New client setup
Accounts preparation from both incomplete records and computerised records
Submitting company tax returns
Overseeing work of other employees
Providing VAT return assistance
Working on ad-hoc projects as requiredTHE PERSON:

Must have experience as an Practice Accountant within a UK based accountancy practice
ACA or ACCA qualified. Will consider QBE but must have minimum of 3 years practice experience
Excellent knowledge of Accountancy software, ideally with systems such as Sage, Xero or CCH
Experience of Accounts Preparation for a range of businesses including Sole Traders, Ltd Companies and Partnerships.
Ability to prepare accounts to a high standard
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and word is essentialTO APPLY:
