Accounts / Finance Manager - This high-profile multisite retail business in North West London is expanding its operations and is looking to add to its already impressive portfolio. As part of this growth, they are looking to recruit an Accounts / Finance Manager to join their team and bridge the gap between the Finance Director and the team of transactional Finance Assistant's. Key responsibilities include:
*Overseeing preparation of management accounts and commentary for the group.
*Full P&L & balance sheet management and analysis, looking after all financial matters on Sage 200.
*Working with Operations Team and Area Managers to review management accounts on a monthly basis, as well as to ensure successful communication between ops and finance de-partment
*Managing and coaching a team of Accounts Assistant's, making sure they fulfil their daily tasks within the agreed deadlines.
*Ensuring all accounts are process up to trial balance for each store.
*Ensuring all the sales receipts on the automated systems add up.
*Ensuring that all EDI information tally's up with the figures.
*Balance sheet reconciliations.
*VAT Returns on the system.
*Understanding the Sage 200 system and ensuring all transactions are correctly allocated.
*Liaising with Sage on a regular basis regarding systems issues and system improvements.
*Ensuring month end accounts are produced on Sage 200
The position will suit a systems focused Accounts / Finance Manager with a retail / multisite background and staff management experience.
