Trainee Mortgage Advisor - Overview:
YOU MUST HAVE CeMAP 1, 2 & 3 or R01 & R06 or EQUIVALENT QUALIFICATIONS IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THIS TRAINEE ROLE. DRIVING LICENCE & USE OF A VEHICLE ALSO ESSENTIAL.

My clients, an established and successful Mortgage Brokerage, are looking for a talented Sales Professional with a proven track record, to join their successful and expanding Mortgage Sales team.
The successful candidate will have the benefit of being mentored by an experienced Mortgage Advisor, where they will shadow, observe and learn the trade, whilst also assisting with administrative duties and back office support. They will also assist the Sales Team by phoning out and booking mortgage appointments, amongst other associated duties, all the while demonstrating their ability to step up to a Mortgage Advisor role when they have gained sufficient experience and demonstrated their robust abilities.

Trainee Mortgage Advisor - The Goal:
If successful, you will be trained to be competent and to be able to demonstrate:
- An understanding and comprehension of the current mortgage market
- Thorough attention to detail with regards to applications and case packaging
- Robust fact-finding, rapport building, and accurate lender placement
- Skilful budget planning and effective protection consultation & sales skills
Trainee Mortgage Advisor - The Role:
- Observing qualified Mortgage Advisers during their appointments with clients, taking thorough notes
- Dealing with telephone & enquiries
- Registering potential clients and closing for mortgage appointments
- Liaise with clients to provide feedback on their Mortgage case
- Communicating with Solicitors, Estate Agents and Mortgage Companies, whilst progressing applications
- Taking part in and contributing to meetings with the team
- Achieve realistic targets
- Assist with general duties to ensure smooth running of the office
Trainee Mortgage Advisor - Remuneration:
- £18,000 initial basic salary
- Guaranteed to £22,000 - £25,000 for 3-6 months
- £30,000 - £35,000+ year one On Target Earnings, rising in future years as you gain more experience
