Management Accountant

We are looking for a Part Qualified or Finalist level Management Accountant to assist the Head Of Finance, you will be involved in all aspects of finance with just some of the areas covered being, management reporting, notes to the annual report among many other areas.

This is a role that will continue to adapt, as you will be reporting and assisting the Head Of Financial, you will continue to absorb their duties with maximum exposure to key areas of the business.

The Finance team has an excellent track record of staff retention and the expectation for the right candidate is to be able to progress into other roles within the wider finance team over the next couple of years.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation of the monthly consolidated management accounts, including analysis of variances against budget/forecast and prior year
• Production of management information packs which include detailed financial analysis that supplement the consolidated management accounts
• Preparation of quarterly reporting packs for Tokyo-listed parent company
• Assistance in production of the annual report and related notes
• Playing a key role in the budgeting and reforecasting processes
• Supporting month-end processes

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Goodwill impairment reviews
• Involvement in ad-hoc technical accounting queries as well as more formalised projects
• Assistance with systems implementation projects

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Part Qualified or finalist accountant (ACA or ACCA equivalent)
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience of consolidation for multi-company & multi-currency consolidations
• Strong analytical skills
• Sound problem solving skills and a creative approach with the ability to develop new ideas
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
• Keen to learn and develop
• Skilled at influencing others
• Ability to work in a team and also independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary:

£35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus & Benefits
