Your field of responsibility

Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing day-to-day functional and people management for the Client ID process and projects
  • Ensure BAU operations are executed within stipulated SLA, TAT and QA parameters.
  • Task allocation, volume management, business partner expectation management
  • Perform supervisory controls and performance reviews for team members and provide SME trainings
  • Execution of efficiency and effectiveness measures
  • Evaluating and Approving new customer account documentations and supporting information in order to determine whether they satisfy the client on-boarding identification requirements as per Credit Suisse policies and procedures
  • Verify the identity of prospective new clients across Investment Banking division of Credit Suisse including verification with Global Sanctions and Reputational Risk screening
  • Conduct the background screening on the Client name & other officials’ names using tools such as World Check/Lexis Nexis/Factiva.
  • Interact with the first line of defense to ensure that accurate account documentation is acquired from the customer prior to approval.
  • Reviews and Approvals of Static Data Amendments for existing Client accounts
  • Conduct reviews of existing clients for status, data veracity and amendments, country of incorporation and assign appropriate risk classification
  • Reviewing and closing hits in proprietary tool that result from daily screening against clients / officials names of client databases
  • Assist in coordination of monthly metrics reporting and performed testing of newly built metrics recording procedure.
  • Assisting with CID / AML Ad-hoc projects / tasks

Your skills and experience

The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • 8 -12 years of total experience with an Investment Bank or Private Bank and ideally 5+ years in Risk and Control, Internal Audit, Compliance
  • Knowledge of Front-to-back Investment Banking and/or Private Banking processes (Account Opening/Account Modification and Client Due Diligence/KYC experience will be an added advantage)
  • Proficient in communication, analytical, problem solving and logical and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously along with business partners at various levels
  • Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking and can work on own initiative whilst also working collaboratively and deliver on time with a high level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to take initiative and grasp new concepts quickly
  • Ability to excel under pressure and possess a positive can-do attitude
  • Experience in writing internal policies and procedures and process evaluation and documentation
  • A demonstrated knowledge of internal controls
  • Skill to manage multiple assigned responsibilities while meeting key goals and initiatives
  • Ability to meet deadlines and high level deliverables
  • Ability to demonstrate a professional and objective perspective at all times
