Your field of responsibility

The Senior Regulatory Reporting Specialist role is key to ensuring all relevant organizational structure reporting (FR Y-6, FR Y-7 and FR Y-10) for Credit Suisse is prepared and submitted to the FRBNY on a timely basis. This involves standing up the process to key business partners across business and function, executing key controls around report generation and resolving any issues, such as data quality, that may arise.

Another key aspect of the role is support of the senior regulatory reporting governance for the entity. This includes issue management, production of management information, seeing follow-up actions to their conclusion, preparation of minutes and attendance tracking.

The CSH USA COO - Controls, Quality Assurance and Legal Entity Management group provides centralized oversight of the combined US operations (CUSO) “Landscape”, including control frameworks, issue management and change assurance, legal entity management, and quality assurance over regulatory remediation, as well as provides associated management information reporting to senior business partners. Your skills and experience

Prepare, review, and submit organizational structure reports (FR Y-6, FR Y-7, and FR Y-10) to regulators

  • Build and manage relationship with regulators and help to prepare and coordinate responses to Federal Reserve Bank on organizational structure reporting matters
  • Collaborate closely with reporting business partners on regulatory reporting matters, including training business partners on reporting requirements and implications
  • Maintain strong control environment by executing key controls to mitigate risks around regulatory reports
  • Cultivate strong relationships with other functions to promote consistency and collaboration, as well as be a model for positive cultural change
  • Identify areas of improvement to help understand and resolve issues, delays, and gaps related to regulatory expectations and execution of associated capabilities
  • Prepare and coordinate monthly reporting package for Americas Regulatory Reporting senior governance committee
  • Respond in a timely and accurate manner to ad-hoc queries raised by management and partners
  • Establish and maintain documentation to ensure standardization, quality, consistency, traceability and adherence to firm-wide standards and regulatory expectations

Overall qualifications

  • Proven experience of at least 10+ years of regulatory reporting and governance
  • Deep understanding of regulatory reporting principles, processes and procedures; prior knowledge of and experience with organizational structure reporting desirable
  • Experience with rolling out new concepts related to regulatory reporting
  • Self-motivated with a proven sense of ownership and accountability for tasks and people
  • Ability to collaborate and influence others to improve overall deliverables and work products
  • Able to drive initiatives independently while working with others to achieve goals
  • Ability to operate at a strategic level while also being delivery focused and detail oriented
  • Ability to develop and present information at a senior governance forum, using data from across the portfolio, with analysis, presentation styles and recommendations appropriate to the audience
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence others and champion meetings
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments
