About the Department

The Channels & Digitalization function enables end-to-end seamless connectivity for UOB customers across all physical and digital touchpoints of the Bank. Designed to be in tune with our customers' banking preferences, we strive to enhance engagement and deliver exemplary experiences across our network of branches, self-service machines and digital platforms. We collaborate with FinTech ecosystem partners to keep abreast of developments in the FinTech innovation space and to embed ourselves in our customers' lives. We also harness customer insights to help us deliver new business models and digital innovations, and to build deeper relationships with our customers.

Job Responsibilities

You will play an important role in exercising oversight over delivery channels such as branches, self-service banking and the website, with a focus on designing and implementing effective controls and providing risk advisory to internal stakeholders. You will be expected to drive initiatives to translate new regulatory requirements into operational guidelines and to conduct reviews and testing for ongoing regulatory assurance. Familiarity with the use of data analytics to anticipate, identify and manage risks will be required.

  • Drive initiatives to nurture and promote a robust and effective risk culture
  • Support and develop reporting for key risk indicators and other metrics to monitor risks across platforms
  • Provide risk advisory and support for branches, initiatives and projects
  • Conduct quality assurance testing and thematic reviews
  • Coordinate incident management from investigation, to root cause analysis and corrective actions

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a financial institution, preferably in a risk or governance function
  • Able to balance business needs, customer experience and risk management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Mature, responsible, and highly driven
  • Able to work independently and in a team
