How will I help?
Rock-solid relationships are at the heart of every Commercial banking decision we make. In this strategic role you'll work closely supporting Relationship Bankers in submitting and structuring Property Credit Submissions for $100 million + in exposure. You will be involved in credit applications, early discussions with credit, annual reviews and ongoing credit files while ensuring you are maintaining and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will be working with a variety of property, including unlisted property funds, private property, development and investment clients.
What's in it for me?
We want you to love what you do - and where you do it. You'll be paid fairly, while being in a great position to grow your career - with a range of online learning, training and career planning tools on offer. Some of the best banking, wealth and insurance benefits that are out there will be on offer - and you can even take paid volunteer leave or secondments as well.
What do I need?
You'll need to have some serious financial smarts, particularly when it comes to business banking. Ideally, you will possess at least 3 years' experience in a Property Finance (or Commercial Banking) Analyst role with experience working on deals up to $20- 50M, so you can apply those skills to complex lending structures, as well as credit and risk analysis. You'll ideally have experience with property development and investment transactions and will also be a natural communicator as well as an insightful, strategic thinker.
What's it like to work there?
When you join St.George, you'll become part of the broader Westpac Group family - a friendly, switched-on team working towards a single purpose of helping Australians succeed. As an equal opportunity employer, we're proud to have created a culture where people can be their best, in an environment that values diversity and flexibility. And one where everyone belongs.
As part of our commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, this role is open to experienced candidates seeking a discussion around workplace flexibility. We invite candidates of all ages, people with a disability and Indigenous Australians to apply.
The health and well-being of our employees is our priority and we will ensure that physical distancing requirements are met in all our workplaces if required.
