How will I help?

Reporting to the Executive Manager, Risk Assurance Finance, this person will be responsible for providing line 2 assurance reviews across the Finance division and its offerings. You will help in the development of the divisional Assurance plan and communicate the plan to the stakeholders to ensure effective end to end coverage across the division.

You will support Executive Manager in the completing of assurance activities and controls testing on the effectiveness of Operational Risk management in the Finance division. You will provide concise, integrated risk reporting to the Executive Manager on the effectiveness of risk management in the division based on findings from ongoing assurance reviews.

The nature of the work includes SOx, prudential reporting, projects, compliance, and operational risk, so you get involved in a variety of assurance disciplines. You will be part of a team that works across multiple portfolios giving you exposure across different parts of the bank.

What do I need?

To succeed in this role you will have experience across finance audit, assurance and/or controls testing from banking, audit or financial services organisations. Particularly you will need a track record in testing of automated controls.

With outstanding verbal and written communication skills you will be asked to challenge others and provide thought leadership as you hold your own among key stakeholders.
