We are a global, multi-billion-dollar corporation – and Accounting is vital to reflecting our staggering earnings, profits, cash balances and other financial results. To meet this challenge, we implement best practices, provide general financial support, resolve queries, prepare reports and provide statistics. We also design policies and procedures that adhere to audit standards and conform to FASB and SEC guidance, as well as compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley section 404.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support in the collections process.
  • Maintains database by entering, updating and retrieving data, as well as formatting and generating reports.
  • Coordinates with internal departments & customer to resolve billing disputes that may affect the ability to collect receivables, and drive reduction of past due AR.
  • Reviews status of accounts, and proactively initiate collections activities.
  • Prepares various monthly/quarterly AR related reports & statement and gather credit and/or reference information
  • Checks and verifies account receivable records, and pass manual journal entries.
  • Supports internal metrics and goals through collections activities.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation in accordance with Corporate Policy and meet the deadline given.
  • Liaise with auditors in performing SOX/CSA testing and Internal/External audit.
  • Continue effective communication with Business Partners and recommend process improvement initiatives
  • Provides support and expert guidance to business partners as required
  • Bring new ideas for process improvement

Essential Requirements

  • Fluent English
  • Degree with 3 years relevant experience
  • Ability to setup or fully redesign a process
  • Oracle accounting system experiences
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT, etc)

Desirable Requirements

  • ACCA/SYMA/CIMA certification in progress/completed is an advantage
