Senior Business Systems Analyst (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Princeton, New Jersey): The Senior Business Systems Analyst will support State Street Global Services’ alternative Investment Solutions (AIS) business. The individual in this position will assist end users on day-to-day business function related system issues in servicing their clients and onboarding new clients on the Global Real Estate Platform (GREP). The Senior Business Systems Analyst will assist and implement ideas that streamline processes and enhance controls, and diagnose, design, test and implement technical solutions from small to large, complex projects. The individual in this position will foster a deep partnership and highly productive consultative relationship between IT, internal and external clients, leading a portfolio of IT projects and services, with a focus on Real Estate business processes.

Specific duties of the position include: translating Real Estate business needs into technical software systems solutions, leading the delivery of services and projects, and ensuring their success; maintaining the relationship between the Fund Management teams and IT team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining the critical business software systems that drive global Real Estate operations; serving as a Scrum Master and partner to model, design, and build technical software systems solutions that improve State Street’s Real Estate processes; collaborating with Fund Controllers to define technical requirements and lead projects from inception through delivery, including status updates and scope changes; responding to issues and incidents and providing day-to-day administration and support of Fund Accounting System, Investor Correspondence, and Real Estate Ledger and Sub-Ledgers including MS Dynamics and Oracle Financial; identifying issues and opportunities areas and proposing process, data, and systematic software solutions; partnering with business leadership and internal/external development resources to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of IT system solutions; collaborating with offshore application and software systems development teams to validate test results for new solutions, verifying that they meet the requirements of the business group; developing, maintaining, and documenting current and new system process flows; designing and implementing complex Fund Accounting Systems software; utilizing knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suit and MS Dynamics Fund Ledger Management to conduct Real Estate IT analysis, design and implementation of complex Fund Accounting Systems, and ERP solutions; providing structure and leadership to process improvement projects as well as expertise in developing new or improved workflows; troubleshooting and implementing practices and recommendations relating to key Real Estate Fund Allocation systems using Oracle Financial and Microsoft Dynamics; and utilizing knowledge of project management and software development life cycle (Agile Methodology). Travel required 10% of time.

Minimum requirements are: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field plus 10 years of experience in Financial Services industry.

Must have: demonstrated technical and project management experience in a fast-growing, technology organization; hands-on experience on Oracle E-Business Suite and MS Dynamics Fund Ledger Management experience; proven knowledge of Real Estate business processes such as Drawdown/Capital Call, Distribution, Preferred Return, Net Income Analyses; demonstrated problem solving and analytical/critical thinking skills; demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and providing quick resolutions to server related issues; proven knowledge of relational database structure, theories, principles and practices (Sybase; DB2; SQL Server); demonstrated experience in project management and development life cycle (Agile Methodology); and demonstrated ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
