Responsible for Managing the Global Family Office Partnership Accounting and General Ledger Team. This role includes oversight of the day to day deliverables, managing implementations, vendor management.

The manager conducts the performance management process, identifies training and development needs, and establishes performance standards for the division/unit. Makes staffing decisions, and ensures resources are available to accomplish priorities. Key decision-maker for the salary review process for the division. Participates in developing division strategic plan and sets goals and priorities based on the direction set for the unit; follows through to ensure that objectives are met. Develops unit(s) budget and manages the expenses for the division/ unit. Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication

  • Ensure all financial targets are met. Maintain profit margins within the Hedge Fund Accounting division
  • Enforce, remediate and escalate risk issues if they arise. Identify, assess, monitor and control risk issues within the Hedge Fund Accounting group
  • Identify new products opportunities
  • Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business function activities
  • Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.
  • Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and/or business knowledge and functional expertise
  • Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity

Qualifications

  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • In-depth Functional/Industry Knowledge is required
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change
  • Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff.
