NEW Finance Operations Business Partner role with Warren & Mahoney Ltd

Your new role
Reporting into the Group Business Performance Manager, you will support the Auckland Studio Principal regarding financial management of all ongoing architectural projects to maximise project profitability. You will prepare a rolling forecast for the Auckland business and review frequently to investigate all variations, account for revenue on selected projects, communicate a monthly commentary on all management accounts and map out cash-flows for the lifetime of projects. The Finance Business Partner will undertake project profitability reviews, provide guidance on trends and identify any areas of risk whilst working closely with project teams to identify, track and claim variations. Furthermore, you will assist with the negotiation of contracts, manage costs against fee, monitor compliance and be responsible to ensure relevant insurances and QA processes are in place to cover project scope.


What you'll need to succeed
A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or similar is essential alongside 5+ years' senior level commercial finance experience or similar project accounting preferably in a large corporate. Full CA/CPA membership is not essential but highly favorable. You will have a local exposure to business partnering, project management and a strong understanding of project financial systems. Softer skills include your positive energy, ability to lead a small team and maintain strong working relationships.
