DESCRIPTION

Amazon Music seeks a Finance Manager to join the Digital Music Finance group and support a fast growing business focused on building a personalized, curated, and seamless music experience for the customers. Amazon Music, which includes Prime Music ("PM"), Amazon Music Unlimited ("AMU") and Ad Supported Music, has been expanding rapidly over the last two years through international expansion and leveraging new distribution channels. We currently offer streaming music service to customers in 40+ countries and we have become one of the major players in the biggest markets for global streaming music.

Amazon Music is seeking a Finance Manager to own Business Development by supporting the business in evaluating deals, manage and report deal performance, forecasting, building and and improving processes, while generating insights for future business decisions.
The successful candidate will have the ability to tackle multiple projects and efficiently execute deliverables, is a self-starter with strong business and financial modeling skills, has a keen attention to detail and good track record of influencing business partners. The candidate will also have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, and problem-solve.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Owning the global business development P&L
• Managing global business development planning process, analyses, and payments
• Reporting third party partner performance
• Influencing business decisions by effective verbal and written communication, data driven analysis and modelling, and presentation of alternatives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS degree in Finance or related field
• Prior experience in finance or other related analytical experience
• Must demonstrate fluency in English language both written and verbal.
• Relevant finance accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience from a Big4 Accounting firm in a M&A function conducting due diligence
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex business processes, work with multiple global stakeholders to establish controls and reporting framework for reporting, management, and compliance purposes.
• Excellent data analytical skills and ability to build and manage financial models for problem solving, deep dive analyses, forecasting, and understanding variances.
• Ability to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must show evidence of using data to inform decisions and have a demonstrable track record of delivering results.
• Will be able to demonstrate proficiency in SQL, Cognos, and Tableau
