Client Details

You will be working for one of the largest housing organisations in the North West and responsible for working closely with the Group Financial Accountant to manage the Groups growing fixed asset register, as well as financial accounts preparation and the reviewing of work.

Description

Duties as the Fixed Asset Accountant:

• Effectively manage the Groups property and other asset registers including; additions and disposals, capital accounting, depreciation, financial accounting and management accounting
• Responsible for statutory year and accounting
• Liaising with subsidiary accountants for capital accounting
• Service delivery and lassie with internal and external clients
• Provide advice and guidance to all other financial functions
• Ensure compliance and policies and procedures are in place
• Apply robust controls and reporting processes to deliver safe services and operations
• Liaise with external auditors at year end

Profile

To be successful as the Fixed Asset Accountant you will:

• Thorough working knowledge of statutory accounting processes
• Track record of delivering fixed asset accounting
• Previously worked in a large complex organisation
• Produced financial statements and analysis
• Demonstrable experience implementing change and money management
• Confident in influencing and inspiring others to encourage innovation
