The Principal Financial Analyst, Passenger Taxes is responsible for coordinating, supporting and working as a subject matter expert for the accounting, taxation and reconciliation function within the (Revenue Accounting) Financial Services team. This is a specialised role to ensure information integrity for financial management reporting is implemented and maintained via efficient, effective processes and controls. Specific expertise focused on ticket taxes, fees and associated revenue accounting functions will be a key requirement of this role.

You'll have -
  • Professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA qualified) and experience with similar roles, with 3+ years' experience
  • Proficiency with financial systems including Enterprise size General Ledger system and Revenue Accounting Systems
  • Working knowledge of accounting systems and subledger analysis techniques
  • Understanding of lean sigma or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver clear financial analysis and advice
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management, both verbally and in writing
  • A high level of accountability and ability to work to deadlines
