POSITION PURPOSE:
- Responsible for sales reports and dashboards in Commercial Unit to facilitate review, tracking & business decisions within Commercial Unit
- Responsible for allocation, tracking and analysing sanctioned promo budgets for a Commercial Unit including crop wise, region wise and campaign wise allocation and coordinating all business intelligence activities for the CBU
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage data and produce analytics around sales : Budget, Forecast, LE and actuals
- Custodian of data that drills down from CU through region to the territories : Plans, Actuals, Historicals
- Creation and maintaining / managing dashboards for ongoing business decision making : Forecasts (system generated vs team generated), Placements, Demand creation decisions based on crop economics, weather patterns
- Develop/Adopt/Drive a method to track marketing spends (FO time spent, activity spends, ATL & BTL spends such as jeeps, local mass media, outdoor, POS visibility etc) by territoryXcropXproduct
- Create insightful cause-effect analysis for campaign excellence teams to use to ensure marketing effort is focused on opportunities with highest ratio of (incremental sales : expense)
- Link demand creation efforts to sales targets - how much sales will come from momentum, how much from simple reminders, and how much requires awareness and trial generation activities in person
- Allocate and monitor sanctioned promotional budgets for the Commercial Unit
- Consolidation of CU business intelligence: coordinate CPS / CSS activities
- Supporting Marketing and Sales Operations teams with other data/analysis as required
WHO YOU ARE:
- Tertiary degree (Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Commerce)
- Understanding of sales, supply and finance processes for business reporting
- Strong analytical skills, statistical orientation and visualization skills
