Role Description: This position reports to the Director of Operations under the Business Team. As an investment management company, FTIM is committed to strong operational performance by maintaining an institutional-quality operations and reporting framework.
Specific Responsibilities:
Competencies: Trainee will gain in-depth knowledge on the trade reconciliation process of investment trades made in an investment firm and learn how to generate portfolio and investor reports. Trainee will also get the opportunity to develop strong organisational and soft skills in managing and documenting relationships with third parties as well as learn how to use software necessary for trade operations. In addition, trainee will learn how to process, organise, document and handle various administrative duties related to the business team.
Duration of Traineeship: 6 months
Approved Training Allowance:
Educational Requirements: This position is open for both recent graduates and mid-career individuals (mature and non-mature). Graduates interested in this position should possess a Poly Diploma Qualification in Banking and Finance , or related disciplines. Mid-career individuals with relevant experience from any qualification level may apply.
Trainees may be offered conversion to full-time employment at the end of the 6-month traineeship. As such, applicants who are able to commit for the long-term are strongly preferred.

- Assist in the preparation of internal portfolio and risk reporting
- Manage and document trade operations-related third-party communications
- Perform administrative duties supporting the business operations of the firm
