A fast-growing T/O £20m+ Manufacturing business based in Liverpool is recruiting a Financial Controller to join its Head office. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly ambitious, driven accountant who is seeking the opportunity to develop into a Finance Director role within c.2 years. Reporting to the Finance Director, in brief, your role will cover the following;
- Preparation of Management Accounts
- Report writing
- Payroll
- Revenue - PAYE/VAT
- Managing a team of 5 Part Qualified and transactional level staff
The role is ideal for a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant with Manufacturing experience, although non-manufacturing experience will also be considered for the right candidate. Due to the nature of the industry, you must be robust and confident and able to build effective relationships with Operational colleagues. Driven and ambitious, you will thrive on being proactive and always looking to drive efficiencies. Good people management skills are also essential to motivate and develop the team as the business continues to grow.
