Interim Financial Accountant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are pleased to be working with a successful not for profit organisation based in Sheffield, to recruit a Financial Accountant to commence August 2021. This is initially a 3 month role, on a fixed term basis, to assist during a busy period. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a great culture, within a close knit finance team.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, As Financial Accountant, your duties will include:

- Posting year end journals - Likely to include recharges, accruals / prepayments
- Capitalising fixed assets & closing the period in the fixed asset register, and updating the fixed asset balance sheet reconciliation
- Completing capital grant returns
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing information for external auditors ahead of year end audit
- Preparing subsidiary year end financial statements
- Assisting with preparing year end financial statements
