The job

This role is pivotal to the company's ongoing growth and success. As Financial Controller, you will lead your team whilst taking responsibility for key tasks within the finance function. You will oversee production of management accounts, ensuring they are produced in accordance with deadlines and with accuracy as well as being responsible for the financial management and reporting of the various income streams. You will be heavily involved in the commercial side of accounting, working closely with operations to ensure financial targets are being delivered as well as managing the budgeting and forecasting process. You will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, using your influence and accurate financial information to guide decisions and decide business strategy.

The person

The ideal person for this role will be a highly commercial financial controller operating within an SME or a finance manager looking for a step up into a financial controller role. Ideally you will be CIMA/ACCA qualified, however part-qualified or QBE applications are also welcome. You will be highly competent in producing management accounts as well as the budgeting and forecasting process and have first-rate communication and relationship building skills. Commercially aware, you will be confident in leading a business through financial information to ensure targets are being delivered and growth is achieved.
