Group Risk and Resilience Senior Manager - Financial Servies Blue-chip - London with 2 days WFH - Circa £75k-£85k + car allowance, annual bonus, great benefits package

Robert Walters are hiring for a Group Risk and Resilience Senior Manager for a well-known, blue-chip financial services business.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in their Central London office but allowing 2 days per week working from home.

Managing a team of 3, the Group Risk and Resilience Senior Manager will be responsible for managing the group's operational resilience threats and risks, and for mitigating risks relating to data breaches and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

Protect the business from financial and reputational damage in relation to operational resilience threats, data breaches and cybersecurity threats.

Effective running of Payment Fraud Disruption team by improving processes and refining workflows
Effective management of team of 3 staff
Interact with senior internal and external stakeholders on operational resilience, payment fraud events or other risk instances
Maintain and improve business knowledge of industry risks and latest intelligence. Ensure latest intelligence is communicated to relevant individuals and acted upon
Ensures that the business has adequate and credible responses to stakeholders in the event of Data Compromises

Accountabilities:

Operational Resilience - Identify and remediate resilience risks among clients and counterparties
Data Compromise - Ensure data compromises in European markets are contained and managed as swiftly as possible and that forensic investigations are of adequate quality
Cybersecurity - Using intelligence, identify potential area of cybersecurity weakness in collaboration with dedicated internal cybersecurity team.

The company is looking for someone with strong prior operational resilience experience, good team leadership and managerial credentials, and someone with analytical capability.

Strong experience in cybersecruity or data breaches is beneficial but not necessary - This is not a technical cybersecurity position and the key experience required is in operational resilience.

Experience of working in the payments, credit or transaction industries / companies would also be beneficial but again is not necessary.

The role comes with a salary of circa £75k-£85k + £6k car allowance, 15% bonus, and a fantastic benefits package; The role is based in Central London with 2 days per week working from home.
