Position OverviewThe role is a key member of the finance management team at regional level and is responsible for reporting the financial performance of operations in the region, focusing on profitability and ensuring accuracy and consistency of management reports.

Areas of focus include:
  • Develop, implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability for Medical Services that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the Medical Services Product Lines.
  • Routinely communicate sub-location and regional consolidated financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics.
  • Ensure timely and complete monthly and quarterly management reporting, for Medical Services at Regional and Sub-location level as required for management purposes, including profitability analyses per product lines, market segments and customers.
  • Analyze the financial performance and outlook with the Regional CFO suggest trends, resulting implications and support the formulation of actions.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting exercises Medical Services.
  • Support the Regional CFO and Exco management team in developing the regional budget guidelines.
  • Support the various regional budget submissions and ensure they are aligned to the guidelines issued.
  • Drive the entire end to end budget process including the submission and presentation.
  • Prepare the budget presentation and review documents for business.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects upon request from Regional CFO including business planning for future acquisitions and direct support to sub-locations as required.
  • Participate as a key thought leader within the regional finance team, influencing decision making, identifying finance priorities, managing directly and indirectly - FP&A staff in multiple locations. Partner with business, FP&A and accounting teams as required.

Requirements
  • Willing to work contract basis - minimum 6 months (extension depending on business needs / performance)
  • Degree in Finance / Accounting equivalents or CA / CPA qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of regional financial planning & analysis responsibility or equivalent, preferably in a multi-national organization.Strong business acumen and analytical skills to provide detailed and valuable business analysis to management.
  • Hands-on with day-to-day operations, able to work under pressure, deliver results and observe deadlines.
  • Exposure to financial analysis and management reporting within a complex, detail-focused environment.
  • Experience in a fast pace, multi-national organisation, ideally within the professional services industry.
