Our client is a Top Tier Financial Services company, and they are looking for an skilled Business Analyst with experience in Data Management!
This role is part of the business team that supports the data management repository, Collibra, working with multiple stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve the user experience, increase functionality and expand the use of Collibra across the organisation.
Collibra is used to capture our business glossary, data lineage, data dictionaries, risks and controls, business rules, data quality rules and data quality issues. As such, it would be advantageous to have had previous experience in a similar role within data management.
As a delivery-oriented Business Analyst, you will:
You will be able to work with non-technical business stakeholders to translate business concepts into requirements that can be delivered as effective, enterprise solutions within the prescribed data management tool set. You will also define acceptance criteria and perform testing, support a diverse set of stakeholders in being able to consistently and accurately capture metadata and data lineage in Collibra, as well as train and support users on the effective use of data governance tool set.

- Gather and document quality business requirements
- Convert requirements into design and build activities for the architecture and technology teams.
You will be able to work with non-technical business stakeholders to translate business concepts into requirements that can be delivered as effective, enterprise solutions within the prescribed data management tool set. You will also define acceptance criteria and perform testing, support a diverse set of stakeholders in being able to consistently and accurately capture metadata and data lineage in Collibra, as well as train and support users on the effective use of data governance tool set.
You will have these key skills:
- 5+ years business analysis experience
- strong stakeholder engagement skills with a passion for championing change
- experience working with business and technical project stakeholders translating business and data requirements into user stories to be used in solution design
It would be beneficial if you have:
- experience working in agile environments
- data Management experience
- experience using SQL
- Financial Services industry experience
- regulatory reporting experience
- exposure to operational risk management
