Role: Senior Business Analyst (until 31 December 2021

Position Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and identify any potential gaps between system and processes. This role will identify solutions and further develop the application for the gaps identified.

You will foster close partnership with our BOC (Business Operations Centre) Team, Developers, Testers, and Support personnel and provide key input for the future of the CVMS application and organisation within the team.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the COVID-19 Vaccine Management System, its functionality and the application of those functions to customers' business operations.
  • Develop processes and standards to improve the quality and timeliness of requirement specification development and delivery.
  • Point of contact for product, test, configuration and training leads to support effective delivery and promote collaboration
  • Deal with queries from key stakeholders on requirements and manage expectations.
  • Support the creation of solution requirement documentation such as user and marketing guides.
  • Support and lead stakeholder and internal meetings as required
  • Engage with stakeholders to clarify business processes and functional requirements and create designs.
  • Support strategic projects and initiatives as per business needs
  • Analyze and understand the business needs to build a coherent plan
  • Accountable for identifying improvement opportunities for the business by using your strong analytical skills to interpret data and achieve strong citizen focused outcomes through effective self-management, leadership and coaching of teams
  • Apply diagnostics to production based issues.
  • Improve project delivery to streamline and standardize business processes and reporting through regular reviews
  • Review and report on high priority issues, risks and trends.
  • Keep accurate and complete records of work activities as per the legislative and department's record keeping, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
