Border to Coast is an FCA regulated investment company ("Border to Coast Pensions Partnership Ltd") which manages the Partner assets through both internal and external management within several investment vehicles.

Senior Compliance Manager (Advisory)

Reporting to the Head of Compliance and MLRO, we are looking for a hands-on Senior Compliance Manager to provide appropriate challenge and advice to the business and senior leaders in respect to regulatory risk, conduct and financial crime risks, and compliance with designated regulation and legislation. It is a no. 2 level role within the Compliance team deputising for the Head of Compliance and MLRO on compliance matters and ensure timely and effective compliance input to Change Management processes and initiatives. The Senior Compliance Manager would also lead day-to-day provision of compliance and anti-financial crime advice, in respect to all applicable regulations, including COBs, SYSC, and FUND as well as the Compliance and Financial Crime 'Horizon Scanning'.

The successful candidate will be a highly experienced Compliance professional with in-depth practical knowledge of institutional Investment Management and excellent engagement and influencing skills. Expert knowledge of regulatory, conduct, and financial crime-related requirements in respect to institutional investment managers and a strong understanding of anti-money laundering are key requirements.

You will need to be an agile thinker, strong of character and credibility to objectively challenge senior management and functional heads within Border to Coast. You will also demonstrate strong experience of a management role, capable of overseeing effective compliance and conduct-related control frameworks.
