A high growth biotech business is looking for a qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) for a Commercial Accountant position. This Commercial Accountant role would be the ideal next step for someone who has a good background in business partnering & financial analysis with a passion for creating value within finance. The Commercial Accountant would report to the Finance Director.

The Commercial Accountant will take the lead role on driving value from the P&L across numerous key accounts. This will include partnering with sales, commercial teams, project managers and key account teams to provide greater understanding around the key drivers of the P&L. On a monthly basis there will be some standard MI and reporting to produce for the management team as well as budgeting, forecasting and analysis at month end. However, this is an extremely diverse role with a lot of adhoc commercial projects to get involved in.

This is a brilliant next step for someone who has some existing business partnering or FP&A experience and is looking to get into a true business partnering role.

As mentioned, the ideal profile would be qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with post qualified experience in a similar position displaying good commercial acumen. A desire to work in a fast paced, growing organisation is essential.
