The successful candidate will be working independently to perform a broad range of compliance and tax advisory work across a range of taxes.

Responsibilities:
n
- n
- Advising on appropriate business structures n
- Providing formal tax advice n
- Reviewing and commenting on taxation assumptions and formulas in financial models and taxation provisions n
- Advising on domestic and international business and transaction structures n
- Providing formal tax advice about direct tax issues impacting corporate groups n
- Liaising with the ATO on technical issues, private ruling matters and other tax audit issues for both private groups and large listed entities n
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:
n
- n
- As a senior member of the Tax team the successful candidate will have experience in providing Specialist tax advisory services including Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax and Payroll Tax. n
- CA or near CA qualified accountant who has solid Australian tax experience gained ideally in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm. n
- Your technical knowledge should be supported with excellent organizational skills and a passion to provide outstanding service to clients. n
- You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to actively develop, engage and train junior staff. n
- Ability to work well as a member of a high performing team n
- Ability to build strong relationships both internally and with external clients and be a self-starter n
