Provide robust performance management support across labour and waste and ensuring detailed fixed cost reviews routinely take place
Lead the site Greencore Manufacturing Excellence agenda including tracking of project delivery
Ensure the integrity of the balance sheet through monthly detailed reviews and maintaining a detailed knowledge of balance sheet items including risks and opportunities
Owner and gatekeeper of the site capital process, including planning and prioritising future spend, maintaining an accurate view of cash spend phasing, monitoring and challenge of project timescales from inception to completion, quality control for all capital proposals being issued from the site and monitoring capital spend
Maintain an eye on financial outlook, looking ahead for changes in future performance required to achieve target and work with the site to develop a plan to deliver, communicating upwards where necessary
Ensure financial reporting (weekly flash, weekly P&L, month end close) are completed accurately and within agreed timescales

Are you an experienced Financial Controller with a background in FMCG or manufacturing?

Within our Finance department, we're looking for well-qualified, high energy individuals with a genuine enthusiasm for manufacturing or FMCG environments.

What we're looking for Formal Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge

Part/newly qualified accountant
Breadth of financial experience
Understanding of manufacturing processes
A 'can do' attitude demonstrated in a challenging environment.
Ability to challenge and support stakeholders to ensure quality outputsPractical Experience

Proven ability to identify, drive and manage opportunities to standardise processes to for efficiency and consistency.
Strong system and spreadsheet capability.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and set clear goals and direction for the team
Be able to think clearly under pressure, and prioritise a workload to deliver results to deadlines
Manage multiple stakeholders
Understanding of manufacturing processes.
Ability to review and document processes and implement improvements.
