Randstad are recruiting a Financial Accountant on behalf of a global medical device and healthcare leader, who are dedicated to helping people reach their full health potential. The successful candidate will provide support to the Lead and Assistant Controller in various and wide ranging projects surrounding corporate tax and restructuring as well as general accounting tasks such as month end, forecasting, budgeting, audits and investigations.

Randstad are recruiting a Financial Accountant on behalf of a global medical device and healthcare leader, who are dedicated to helping people reach their full health potential. The successful candidate will provide support to the Lead and Assistant Controller in various and wide ranging projects surrounding corporate tax and restructuring as well as general accounting tasks such as month end, forecasting, budgeting, audits and investigations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist with and support a Corporate restructuring exercise involving several UK entities to maximise and ensure an efficient entity structure and an efficient UK Corporation tax structure.
- Contribute to a review of the end to end VAT process so that current VAT documentation is up to date. (Including process mapping, data gathering and SOP writing.)
- Assist with the UK Corporation tax process, including the preparation of computations, UK group relief matrix and loss utilisation and preparation of the UK group Corporate Interest Restriction calculations.
Ideal Experience/Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant with 3+ years post-qualified experience within a global, multinational corporation.
- Good understanding of Corporation Tax on a UK group basis and a good working knowledge of VAT.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical accounting and taxation issues in straightforward language to both Financial and non-Financial managers.
