How will you make an impact?

This role supports the finance function and financial controller with accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashbook activities and maintaining the general ledger. It also supports general administration activities.

What will you do?
  • Monitoring aged debts to increase cash flow
  • Record invoices and credit memos in accounting system
  • Month end duties, including, but not restricted to, standard journal entries, accruals, prepayments
  • Raise monthly billing invoices
  • Assist in setting up job router for invoice processing
  • Follows established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc.
  • Record Supplier invoices in accounting system and secures required payment approval for company disbursements
  • Perform account reconciliations and processes transactions in multiple currencies
  • Sets up payment runs for UK and overseas suppliers
  • Provide reports for external and internal auditors
  • Develop Sarbanes-Oxley documentation
  • Administer expenses system to process employee expenses
  • Provide coverage (backup) to support other accounting duties when necessary
  • Other financial or accounting tasks as required

  • Ability to multi-task and exercise discretion while handling sensitive information
  • Strong skill set in MS Office products including Excel and Word
  • Capacity to act as a self-starter and as a team player with strong follow-up skills
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, etc.
  • Proficiency in performing research
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player and self-motivated with good attention to details
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Flexibility to work as required at busy times such as month-end
