It is a 15-month+ contract but you could not be joining at a better time; our business is of international scale with great source of opportunities and we don't give up on talent. The successful candidate will have input and influence on the company's importantfinancialdecisions. Joining us as Finance Controller you will be focused on managing financial and operational reporting, reviewing, and improving processes and internal controls as well as managing a small international team. You will be reporting to the management and stakeholders for the EMEA business.

More about the role

This role will be focused on:

  • Financial Management of 12 entities in numerous European countries including compliance with local regulations including VAT and statutory
  • Driving compliance through month end control, reconciliations and ensuring balance sheet financial risk is managed.
  • Managing stakeholder reporting to ensure that deadlines to produce monthly and quarterly accounts, cash flows forecasts, valuations and the provision of statutory information are met.
  • Treasury management across multiple countries and currencies
  • Preparing timely, monthly financial reporting and statistical information according to company's procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Supporting on providing budget variance explanations
  • Driving improved efficiency and effectiveness in accounting processes.
  • Analysing profitability and cost tends within the business and engaging pro-actively with stakeholders.
  • Leading relationships with the banks / auditors and the government authorities.
  • Participation in improvement activities at department/company level to enhance business performance.
  • Supporting the annual budget process and operational forecasts.


Qualifications

About you

You will be great communicator who enjoys a fast pace, dynamic and flexible working environment. A self-motivated, enthusiastic professional with "roll-up your sleeves" approach to embrace variety of assignments.

You will be keen to collaborate with colleagues from across the globe and provide a leadership to a small team of professionals. You will be a qualified and experienced Financial Controller, who has previously managed a finance team.

What will you need?

  • Professional Qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 5 years post qualification experience.
  • Proven e experience in: corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and development of policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Advanced Excel and knowledge of any ERP system (JDE/SAP).
  • An analytical mindset.


Considered as assets:
  • Experience in global organization.
  • Understanding US GAAP and SOX controls.
