Prime Video Channels & Sports European Finance team seeks a Financial Analyst based in our Amazon office in Central London to support Prime Video Channels and Sports businesses strategy and performance in Europe with a particular focus on our growing Sports business. In doing so, you will partner with key stakeholders from Prime Video Finance, Sports Business Affairs, Marketing organizations and Amazon Advertising worldwide.

Responsibilities include:
• Providing financial and business analysis and recommendations to operating business partners, sometimes with limited or ambiguous information
• Providing informed analysis, insight and recommendations around our business metrics to drive optimization and more effective decision making
• Supporting internal customer groups in all finance matters including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking and control
• Preparing regular documentation for financial review meetings with key Prime Video and Finance stakeholders worldwide
• Monitoring cost-centre expenditures versus forecasts and budgets
• include analysis of business performance trends, return on investment financial modelling, reporting and short/long range planning.

Basic Qualifications:
• BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar discipline with analytical bias
• Relevant finance accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
• In depth knowledge of SQL

• Comfortable working in cross-functional and diverse teams
• Strong communication and persuasion skills
• Ability to run own projects and analysis, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong analytical and modeling skills
• Great attention to detail and an appetite to dive deep
