The European Amazon Fashion Business is seeking a Finance Sr Manager to work closely with our EU Fashion team to provide support for inbound and outbound supply chain, seasonal and non-seasonal buying, inventory availability and health, customer pricing and competitiveness and ad-hoc projects focused on growth and profitability. Based in one of our five European locations (London, Munich, Paris, Madrid or Milan), the finance leader will work collaboratively with Amazon Fashion leaders across Europe, driving profitable growth while helping the company manage its strategic, financial, and operational plans.

This finance leader will form part of the EU Fashion finance team, working with both finance and business colleagues and driving various financial analysis, strategic initiatives, and control activities that fuel Amazon's future growth. They will also help transform and improve current finance and business processes to increase efficiency across the business and the wider finance organization as well as to enable better decision making via improved transparency of financial results.

Key Responsibilities:
The role has a broad set of financial responsibilities and require strong business partnership with various teams and stakeholders to help drive continuous improvement of the financial and operational performance of our business. Specifically:
• Finance Partner to the Director of EU Fashion Cross-Category excellence, driving financial performance across all five product categories spanning all eight customer sites (UK, DE, FR, IT, ES, NL, SE and PL) and beyond
• Support and influence internal customer groups across all finance and strategic business matters
• Identify defects and establish mechanisms to improve operational excellence as well as business performance, implementing change in conjunction with partnering teams
• Operate effectively across a broad scope of tasks (e.g. business case modelling, lead strategic projects across EU, ad hoc analyses of business drivers), and establish strong relationships with multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization located across EU and the US (local business leaders, central teams, senior management, warehouse operations, supply chain, etc.)
• Influence at a senior level to create value and ensure strong financial controls for the business
• Work across teams and geographies by influencing Amazon leadership locally and in Luxembourg and Seattle, our regional and global HQs
• Support business decision making via strong data analysis, from individual vendor negotiations to new business development initiatives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Relevant finance qualification (CIMA.ACA.ACCA) or MBA
• Must be comfortable working in cross-functional teams
• Possess strong communication and persuasion skills.
• Has a superior attention to detail
• Excellent analytical skill, a passion for metrics and figures, and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
• Strong bias for action, including the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Strong skills in accessing and using analytical tools and modeling
• Innovative and commercial
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
• Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills
• Ambitious, want to succeed and be part of a great team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Broad-based Finance Professional who comes from organizations known for development of financial talent and excellence
• Previous experience with E-Commerce, Retail, Manufacturing, Supply Chain/Logistics processes and systems is a plus
• Experience in working within a matrix organization
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Access, Essbase and/or Cognos) and other financial systems such (e.g. Oracle)
