About the role
Scope: The production clerk is responsible for verifying and processing finished production in SAP. They are also responsible for the reporting the scanning accuracy from the blenders, filling lines, wrap desk and assisting production/warehouse with any clerical duties that they may need help with. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: General support of plant production and quality assigned by plant leadership. Attend all safety meetings, report any safety incidents/accidents and understand and follow all Company and Plant Safety policies and Procedures. Support for the SQF 2000 System. Trained in the Kerry HACCP program in order to identify critical steps and their instructions critical to effective implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Plan. Track accuracy of the blenders to make sure they are in compliance to the ‘Scan/Pour’ process. Ensure that all ingredients are systemically accounted for as required per the PO (production order). Assist production with any clerical duties.
Qualifications and skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to organize work to maximize output of shipments
- Ability to give complete attention to detailed work
- Ability to drive a fork truck.
- Ability to handle a powered and non-powered pallet Jack
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prefer two to three years working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
