A fantastic opportunity has become available to join the Finance Support Team within our CLS business on a permanent basis at our Skipton office.This team support essential change, MI and reporting for Operational Finance along with holding the responsibility for the delivery of change programmes, whilst providing business critical metrics and dashboard reporting.Working with the Finance Support Team Manager and Head of Client Finance this team provide critical data within strict customer service delivery guidelines and timeframes whilst ensuring quality standards.Main Purpose of the Role

The Finance Business Analyst is responsible for producing and maintaining the day-to-day delivery of departmental MI providing detailed analysis for KPI's that highlight the performance of the team and how this applies to trend analysis for future planning.You will lead the timely and accurate production of monthly client SLA dashboards interacting with all key stakeholders as appropriate. Conduct research and data analysis on the Finance MI and Finance Systems to identify and deliver new solutions or evolve existing solutions.Working with the Computershare operational stakeholder teams and Computershare Technical Services teams in supporting technical queries, continuous improvement and project related activity related to the role. As well as taking the lead in supporting any technical queries, issues and enhancement or development requests from the wider Finance function.The role holder will be instrumental in the discovery and delivery of improved Finance operational team performance by actively seeking solutions through continuous improvement activities and contributing to the transformation and continuous improvement of our internal automation capabilities through diligent analysis and requirements gathering with key Business stakeholders.Other Key Accountabilities
  • Producing and maintaining (daily, weekly, monthly) Departmental MI showing detailed analysis for KPI's and trends to demonstrate the performance of the team.
  • Leading the timely and accurate production of monthly client dashboards to support the client governance.
  • Providing accurate performance updates to the managers in respect of SLA maintenance productivity quality and performance and how this applies to trend analysis for future planning.
  • To be instrumental in the delivery and ongoing support for any automation projects delivery for the Finance Function and actively seeking to improve team performance through continuous improvement activities.
Skills, Experience & Competencies

As an internal candidate you will hold a good knowledge of the products, services and systems used by Computershare, and ideally have knowledge of the mortgage and/or loan servicing industry. You will have a good internal network that you can develop further to allow effective working relationships, coupled with excellent customer service skills.Ideally, you'll have some previous experience of working on:
  • finance systems
  • mortgage systems
  • system development component testing
  • business process improvements
Essentially, you'll have excellent attention to detail with the ability to unravel complex queries, this will require a positive can-do approach with the willingness to learn on the job. You'll also have great organisational skills, allowing forward planning and preparing work so that it is efficient and effective. And you'll be educated to degree level or equivalent.We are looking for someone who is keen to progress their career by currently working towards /or has a desire to work towards, membership of a recognised Accounting and / or IT qualification, supported by Computershare.It would be advantageous to hold any certification, licensing, or accreditation from regulatory, statutory or professional bodies.Just so you know...

As we're currently working remotely, with the intention of a return to the office when appropriate. Once back, flexible working will be available for this role with the ability to work from home.
