ICT Business Analyst

Tili Group are an established technology company operating the utilihub and Movinghub brands in Australia, New Zealand, UK and US. The development team operates from Melbourne, Australia and delivers global proptech solutions for property industry professionals and software companies. We have a great opportunity for a technical Business Analyst to join the team, have a high-impact into our solution offering and to help drive the company to scale.

The development team operates in an Agile environment. We work with a range of clients, from small real estate brokers through to licensing agreements with tier-1 Energy, telecommunications and utility companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking an lCT Business Analyst who can play a lead role in the utilihub development team.

The selected candidate will work closely with our developers to ensure they understand the scope of work and that the design meets the desired technical specification.

The selected candidate will be required to:

• Communicate with stakeholders to produce requirement specifications to create system and software solutions
• Gather business, application and user requirements.
• utilise data and BA techniques to model processes and compile functional and non-functional technical specifications and process diagrams.
• Identify, document and communicate issues and risks; compile solutions and mitigate strategies
• Liaise within executive, development, data and QA Teams to deliver systems and process improvements
• Create as is and to be documentation to articulate the value add and change of an enhancement
• Use project management techniques to scope, cost and coordinate projects with the development team and key business stakeholders in the delivery of software products.
• Create test plans for end to end-user acceptance testing including documenting acceptance testing criteria, writing test scripts, coordinating and executing tests and defect tracking.
• Creating and providing workshopped training programs to stakeholders and becoming the focal reference point for the project's specification for the business.

EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, ICT or Related Business Information Technology Degree.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years previous experience in a Business Analysis role.
• Experience with complex, fast-paced projects in the technology, energy or telecommunications industries.

Skills:

Ability to effectively manage multiple pieces of work concurrently, extensive experience working with a range of digital stakeholders including UX, Design, Front and Back End Development

• Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to both technical and non-technical resources.
• Experience with Agile project management software tools
• Experience in SQL Database Management
• Strong Analytical skills
• Some exposure to Predictive Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data
