Management Accountant

Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your role as Management Accountant will be to:

• Run the day to day finance function, responsible for junior members of the team
• Produce the monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow
• Consolidate the accounts for several business entities
• Prepare the annual budgets and monthly forecasts
• Review cash balances and bank reconciliations
• Oversee the purchase and sales ledgers
• Review KPIs and other management information
• Maintain the fixed asset register - depreciation, additions, disposals, capitalisation
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts

Profile

The ideal candidate must have the following experience and qualifications:

• CIMA / ACCA / ACA part qualified or QBE
• Ambition and desire to progress their career within a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Experience in producing management accounts
• Exposure to senior management and able to communicate effectively across all levels
• Strong Excel skills
• Good systems knowledge - Sage would be advantageous
