- Assist in the on-boarding process of Global Apex NAV operating offices.
- Perform trade capture based on IM trade file or broker reports.
- Record accurately and in accordance with the policies and procedures, such accounting records as securities positions, cash transactions.
- Ensure accurate fund records through reconciliations and required reporting are processed according to agreed Service Level Agreement (“SLA”) and its deadlines.
- Calculate market value of portfolio holdings based on defined Apex Group pricing policy and approved clients SLA pricing specifications.
- Reconcile various accounts, review cash/positions reconciliations, review pricing prepared by others and promptly correct any variances.
- Identify and analyse reconciliation discrepancies, communicate same to management and assisting in their resolution.
- Ensure follow-ups on reconciliation breaks until final conclusion.
- Systematize all completed work in an organized manner for easy access.
- Use of accounting software (training will be given where required).
- Ensure to meet Service Level Agreement and/or any other timelines/deadlines set out in the process or on an ad hoc basis.
- Serve as back up to other members of the group.
- Participate in regular rotation of trade processing and other accounting processes to prepare the fund accounting system for the next cycle.
- Complete daily and non-daily compliance requirements.
- Complete daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting requirements.
- Preparation of financial statements and management account.
- Preparation of distributions, capital calls, redemptions, etc. Involve on the audit process.
- Be proactive on promoting and driving efficiency initiatives.
- Any other duties as may be assigned.
