Management Accountant

Support the Company's Financial Director with respect to financial reporting and budgetary process. Active day-to-day management of the bookkeeping process, with responsibility to senior management.

Description

Responsibilities

Core Duties:

• Implement automated financial systems, rollout of new policies, processes and procedures as and when needed
• Prepare corporate tax, and fulfil local country tax and statutory requirements and ensure timely compliance
• Manage monthly close process ensuring that underlying processes, controls and systems are in accordance with intra-group SLAs and corporate wide policies
• Deliver timely and accurate management information to include distribution of weekly/monthly reporting packs complete with dashboards and KPIs
• Provide appropriate review and commentary on on P&L, and balance sheet line items
• Reconcile local GAAP/IFRS to US GAAP
• Manage regional and local country audit
• Provide oversight of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, Payroll, Bank Accounts, VAT, Expenses Reports, Overhead Spend, Accruals & Prepayment, Inter-company transactions

Profile

Experience/Competence

Essential Requirements:

• Part-qualified or studying towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA or ACCA)
• Experience in financial reporting and budgeting / forecasting
• Experience in finance operations / accounting
• Audit experience (external or internal)
• Excellent accounting knowledge and skills
• Experience in managing shared services
• Effective presentation skills
• Good knowledge of transfer pricing and different statutory requirements in Europe and USA would be an advantage
• Very strong verbal/written communication skills & excellent attention to detail
