The IBTS is currently recruiting a Permanent/ Full-time Risk and Resilience Manager (Grade VII) based in the CE Office in the National Blood Centre, James's Street, Dublin 8. The Risk & Resilience Manager is responsible for the maintenance of the risk management framework for the IBTS so that medical and scientific and operational activity can be risk treated in a robust manner. The post holder will maintain and continually improve risk management and business continuity strategies for the IBTS, working with senior management to implement these strategies. Essential Criteria: •Degree or equivalent qualification in Science, Engineering or Business/Finance •Experience of working in a continuous improvement culture, including the provision of value for money and service development. •Experience in delivering complex multidisciplinary projects while communicating with authority to both internal and external stakeholders •Demonstrates an understanding of the need for an evidence based approach to policy development and formulation •Demonstrates the interpersonal skills to interact and work with all levels of the IBTS organisation including board members, executive management team members and senior managers from all departments Desirable Criteria: See job description The salary scale attached to the post is the Grade VII scale €48,015 to €62,417 (incl.
