Management & Reporting Accountant

The role's primary responsibilities are to run the month-end and year-end close, consolidation and reporting process including to the Executive and group parent company. Outside of the reporting cycle, this role has a key focus on improving processes and financial controls.

Other responsibilities include:
*Preparation of financial reporting, including consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash flow, variance analysis and management of the risk and ops register.
*Preparation of Statutory Accounts for all group companies.
*Support the Head of Finance with implementing and reviewing the Controls Self-Assessment & Criminal Finance Act exposure.
*Provide technical accounting guidance to Finance Directors as required.
*Drive forward improvements in processes and controls in line with best practice and accounting standards.
*Review monthly results to ensure accuracy and provide an insightful narrative.
*Manage, coach and develop a team of two management accountants.

Requirements:
*Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with industry experience
*In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, financial compliance and corporation tax
*Competent with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
*Experience in using ERPS/financial packages
