Positions Available: Audit Managers Audit Seniors ***************************** AUDIT MANAGERS The successful candidates will be involved in all aspects of overseeing and ensuring the delivery of audit and assurance engagements from planning through to completion. Your role will include executive level client interaction and provide you with exposure to multiple clients on a regular basis. Responsibilities You will have a portfolio of clients and have responsibility for agreeing audit timetables, briefing the audit team (including other specialists), monitoring budgets and supervising the KPMG audit process. This will include planning and reviewing audit fieldwork, statutory reporting and project management. Keeping partners up to date with progress throughout the course of the assignment. Preparing and reviewing reports to senior management and audit committees. On-site involvement and being the key point of contact for senior level client staff throughout the year Keeping up to date with KPMG's product and service offerings, identifying sales opportunities that will help us grow our business. Nurture and seek worthwhile relationships with clients, business departments and staff, for the sharing of information and to identify and progress current and future Audit requirements To manage engagements, overseeing in-charge and audit assistants work ensuring compliance with client, statutory and KPMG requirements, appreciating relevant internal and external market factors, ensuring the effective and timely delivery of engagements Oversee and direct the budgeting, planning, co-ordination and control of engagements in accordance with client, statutory, KPMG and business requirements to ensure effective service delivery and maximised recoverability Direct, coach and mentor between assigned audit staff in a performance manager role Assist the Director and Senior Manager (where applicable) in monitoring the effectiveness of Audit services delivered, providing feedback and reflection MANAGER PROFILE: Qualified Chartered Accountants; At least five (5) years of post-qualification External Audit experience in a professional accounting firm conducting medium-sized audits; Excellent Project Management skills; Strong supervisory skills and experience ; Possess expertise in business development; Possess excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to adapt to a multi-cultural experience; Expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint and Access would be an advantage. Significant practical experience as a Manager in an external audit capacity Demonstrate experience of current accounting and financial reporting standards including IFRS Possess well developed leadership, supervisory and coaching skills and have the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals both internally and externally. Drive and resilience and ability to thrive in a pressured environment Experience working with e-audit on the quality of service accordingly AUDIT SENIORS Responsibilities The successful candidates will be involved in planning and project managing all aspects of audits Including: Controls and substantive testing (including audits of consolidations and statutory accounts) Ensuring projects comply with KPMG and International Auditing Standards Budgeting and monitoring the financial performance of projects, focusing on optimising profitability Leading teams on the ground, reporting directly to the manager and partner Building relationships with the client staff and acting as an ambassador for the firm Report writing for Audit Committees and management Identification of ways to differentiate KPMG - how can we bring new and innovative ideas to our clients? AUDIT SENIOR PROFILE: Completed level III ACCA, or CPA examinations ; At least one (1) year of post qualification External Audit experience in a professional accounting firm conducting medium-sized audits; Excellent Project Management skills Excellent knowledge of International Standards Flexible and willing to travel; Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to adapt to a multi-cultural experience; Experience in a supervisory capacity; and Expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint and Access would be an advantage.
