Page Personnel are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join an established FMCG organisation based in Leeds. Due to growth and expansion within the business, there is a new opportunity to support the Financial Controller for the privately owned company. This role will be ownership of the analysis and reporting of the month end duties.

Due to growth and expansion within the business, there is a new opportunity to support the Financial Controller for the privately owned company. This role will be ownership of the analysis and reporting of the month end duties.
Description
Supporting and reporting into the Financial Controller, this role is successfully delivering the monthly reconciliations and variance analysis reporting. This will also include responsibility for posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns both UK & Overseas etc. Other advanced duties will include profit and loss reports by forecasting projected prices on behalf of the business.
Profile
- Ideally AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Efficient with Microsoft Excel
- Great Stakeholder Management experience
- Extensive knowledge of month end duties i.e journals & reconciliations
- Capable of delivering in a fast paced industry
- Attention to detail
Job Offer
