Role Objective
Exciting opportunity to be part of a global compliance infrastructure servicing clients in the UK and Europe, but also enabling access to global standards and international opportunities for businesses. Job Specification:
Oversee and support the build and growth of the UK and EU Compliance services.
Scope of services and expertise required -
- UK FCA licensing
- AIFMD and UCITS experience
- EU Passporting experience
- Fund approval and registrations
- Marketing review and support for regulated institutions, and related funds,
- Cross border compliance implications Implement the compliance and risk procedures
- UK SMCR
- Support outsourced Compliance & AML services
- Develop compliance supporting services
- Provide and develop SM 16 & 17 services
- Conduct of Business
- Systems and Controls
Regulatory Risk-
- Experience in regulatory risk assessments and regulatory audits
- Support Regulatory Horizon scanning and preparing analysis on regulatory consultation
Develop and oversee AML services-
- Oversight of the clients` AML systems, including Business Risk Assessments
- Establishing and updating the AML Policies, Procedures System and Controls
- Daily operations to ensure compliance with the AML Systems
Skills Required
- Compliance and/or operations professional with experience within regulated financial services
- Experience in, or interest in consulting, either internal or external would be an advantage
- Compliance and AML experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the relevant UK and international regulatory rules and requirements
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills key for building both internal and external relationships
- Ensure client servicing is produced and reviewed to a high standard and delivered in a timely manner
- A pragmatic approach with the ability to think on your feet and problem solve effectively, proactive and solution driven
- A good orator and have a clear and concise style of writing
- Review and recommend changes to client deliverable processes
- A willingness to help expand the business and acquire new clients
- Motivate and empower team members by building their capabilities
