Description

Finance Manager

This is a very varied role and no day will be the same however the main area of focus will be in leading a team of 6 direct reports and business partnering across other departments. This is with a view to making a real contribution to making decisions and adding value through process improvements. There are always interesting ad hoc projects which will require your attention and therefore being able to react quickly and prioritising will be key in being successful in this role. You will also have exposure to the more standard processes, such as; month end, budgeting, forecasting, VAT returns, production of management account packs, variance analysis, maintenance of the fixed asset register and overseeing of the annual audit however ultimately, if you want to work with people who are passionate about what they do and pride themselves on the difference that they make then this is the right role for you.

The right candidate will be a people person with a personality that is engaging and one that will build relationships with ease. It is vital that you have had some management experience and that you know how to bring people on a journey. The technical capabilities are something that can be picked up over time if you haven't had exposure to some of the areas, so it is the person that will make this role a success and a natural professional curiosity is welcomed. Ideally CIMA, ACA or ACCA Qualified but we will also consider QBE applicants.

Job Offer

Finance Manager

The successful applicant will be offered a salary of up to £42,000 dependant on experience. This opportunity allows for flexible working and we will also consider part-time working hours. Holidays are generous with 35 days holiday + bank holidays and a 9% contributory pension. No travel required and you will be based in Nottingham.
