Pricing and Profitability Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently seeking a dynamic and interpesonally strong Pricing and Profitability Accountant for a large and successful international business in Sheffield. They operate out of several offices in the UK and overseas so there is certainly the opportunity to travel and to visit other offices to meet with key stakeholders although this is not essential as work can be done remotely from the Sheffield office.

The team this role is based in is responsible for delivering profitability analysis to the business and working collaboratively with other functions as well as providing training to the wider business with regards to pricing profitably.

This will be a real varied role with duties to include:-

*Prepare and propose alternative fee arrangements that meet both client and business requirements. This will include establishing and maintaining relationships across a number of stakeholders; Pitch, Marketing, Business & Service Delivery
*Proactively contactrelevant stakeholders to obtain details of pricing being offered and critically assess impact
*Interpreting requirements within RFPs to develop the pricing approach, including appropriate analysis and forecasting of profitability
*Taking responsibility for following up successful arrangements, assessing profitability and checking for any scope change

Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

* CIMA or ACCA qualified
* Strong communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels
* Good business partnering skills
* Demonstrate a professional approach
* Be flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements and circumstances
* Be at ease working in a high pressure environment to client enforced deadlines
* Be able to display a consistently positive attitude and adopt a 'can do' approach
* Ability to analyse and model financial data to assist in pricing decisions
* Be able to demonstrate the necessary interpersonal skills to deal frequently with other teams within finance and non-Finance staff
* Exhibit well developed project management skills
* Work well within the team to support the delivery of any time critical projects
* Advanced Excel user (Pivot tables V Look Ups and Macros (desirable)
