As the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will report directly to the CFO and manage a team of 5 direct and indirect reports. Entering an exciting time of change and growth, you will be responsible for developing strong internal relationships with the entire R.M. Williams leadership team and work closely with Retail, E-Commerce, Wholesale, Supply Chain, Marketing and HR.

The FP&A Manager is responsible for the overall budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis within the business. As a key business partner, you, and the FP&A team, will generate insights on sales optimisation, cost management, category performance and channel/store optimisation that enable and strengthen the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and driving the annual budget process
  • Maintaining rolling 3-way forecasts, including identification of risks and opportunities to budget and forecast
  • Work closely with the leadership team to formulate the business' medium to long-term financial and strategic plan
  • Oversee preparation of monthly reporting packs and insights, including Board reporting and Management reporting
  • Oversee preparation of weekly reporting and insights, including weekly commercial insights meetings and weekly manufacturing insights and summaries
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key business partners / stakeholders and seek and provide regular feedback to improve efficiency and drive value creation
  • Implement and improve utilisation of Business Intelligence tools to deliver more meaningful and timely insights into business performance
  • Lead, mentor and support the professional development of the team, creating opportunities to build capability

Key Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or similar
  • CA/CPA/CFA qualified
  • Proven people leadership experience
  • Advanced modelling skills
  • Experience within retail, fashion or e-commerce will be highly regarded, as will experience in global business
  • Strong systems and technology skills, including the use of Business Intelligence tools
