RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Audit Associate is expected to:
- exercise alertness and diligence in carrying out and completing assigned tasks
- exercise professional skepticism
- prepare audit documentation appropriately to support the work performed
- inform the in-charge accountant promptly of problems encountered
- provide explanations and on-the-job training to assistants with less experience
- maintain a good working relationship with the client
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Partly ACCA qualified
- Fluency in both English & French
- Knowledge of IFRS and ISA’s
- Good analytical and organizational skills
- Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
- The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail and display enthusiasm
- Prior work experience in auditing would be an advantage
