Senior Accountant / Client Manager

A highly reputable, long established and successful firm of chartered accountants based in Liskeard is searching for a Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join their team as a key support to the firms directors, taking on the management and hands on delivery of accounts, tax and wider services to wide ranging clients.

Client Details

Based in Liskeard this chartered firm is highly regarded across Cornwall and further afield acting for very wide ranging clients across varying industries acting for wider ranging industry sector OMBs, SMEs and corporate limited company clients, along with acting for smaller sole trader and partnerships. The firm also deals with a proportion of farming and rural related sector clients acting for farming partnerships and other rural related sector clients.

Description

Joining as Senior Accountant / Client Manager based from the firms Liskeard offices you will take on the increasing full management and client portfolio responsibility as you develop within the role. You will be hands on, along with managing the delivery of accounts, tax and wider services to clients. You will take on increasing responsibility for developing client relationships, taking on a portfolio and work on wider advisory, planning and business services in addition, delivering on wider project work. You will act as key support to the firms directors and you will carve an influential key role within this firm.

Profile

There is potential to mould this requirement around the right persons experience and background so you could be ACA/ACCA qualified, with one to two years or more post qualified experience already operating at Assistant Manager / Manager levels. Or you may be a recently qualified Senior Accountant, looking for the next step in your career. Finally, you may be qualified by experience only. You must bring a career background and strength delivering accounts/tax and all around, general accountancy practice services to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment.

Job Offer
